I learned it watching towers of glass
Bow their heads like they don’t reflect back
Every victory hums in the air
Like it wants to be remembered
Like it wants to be paid for later

Win too loud, the room goes still
Climb too fast, the ladder chills

Every triumph leaves a shadow
Every crown remembers who stared
There are battles you can survive
And some you only win once

Don’t outshine the sun, no
Even stars know where to stand
Don’t outrun the rhythm
That the crown calls command
You can glow, you can guide, you can warm them all night
But never rise where the daylight lives

They forgive beauty dressed like chance
Forgive luck if it slips its name
They forgive laughter, forgive charm
If you swear it came uninvited

But sense
Sense is guarded like bloodline gold
Claim it openly and doors go cold

They will grant you favor, grant you grace
Grant you weather, mood, and time
But wisdom wears a royal seal
And they guard that sign

Don’t outshine the sun, no
Even brilliance bows its head
Help the fire remember warmth
Never teach it how it’s fed
You can whisper the way, you can steady the flame
But never stand where the daylight reigns

Princes love a helping hand
Not a horizon they can’t reach
Say it like a half-remembered thought
Like a dream they almost dreamed

Let your truth arrive as echo
Let it sound like something theirs
If you must lead, walk in shadow
Make them swear they chose the stairs

Advice should sound like coincidence
Truth should knock in borrowed shoes

Don’t outshine the sun, no
Even heaven knows the rule
All the stars were born of fire
None of them challenge noon
You can burn, you can sing, you can light up the dark
Just remember what survives the light

Win quietly
Let them think they arrived alone
Because the fatal mistake isn’t losing
It’s being seen taller than the sun
When night remembers how to hold a blade
